Stairway to Freedom is a Chicago Halfway House alternative – a place where people seeking recovery from the disease of addiction or alcoholism can rebuild their lives and start new through support and the most valued tool, one addict helping another. We provide Chicago halfway housing with strict rules of sobriety within the homes and on the grounds along with structure and support while our clients are getting on their feet and learning to be self supporting. Our clients are subject to random breathalyzers and drug screens. We provide a safe place for people in the recovery community to live in and help them build a strong foundation for their personal recovery.
We focus on providing a safe environment at our halfway housing in Chicago for recovering addicts and alcoholics to recover.
